For (200 widows and widowers)
Problem statement: Losing a husband is traumatic enough, but many widows in Nigeria are also left to fend for themselves and their children with no support. Together, we can give them new life skills.

What we want to achieve: Through the Vocational Skill training initiative, we aim to assist widows and unemployed women in communities saddled with family responsibilities and provide the daily bread for them and their kids inclusive by sponsoring vocational skill training and also with small start-up grants to start any of the acquired skills on a small scale, this is to promote entrepreneurship and self-employment as viable options for them to achieve financial independence.

We want to train a total of 250 widows and widowers with vocational skills that are needed in the average life of the common man, so they can financially cater to their needs and that of their kids.

How much is needed: A total of 2,500,000 is needed to complete this project and will be used to purchase 10 sewing machines, 10 sets of construction work tools, 5 sets of hairdressing tools, 5 carpentry tools, and small startup grants to start any of the acquired skills.
