Problem statement: The number of orphans and vulnerable children in Nigeria is estimated at 17.5 million, out of which 7.3 million are orphaned by HIV/AIDS. Public health, as an important component of national security, not only provides adequate and timely medical care, but also tracks, monitors, and controls disease outbreaks. Basic health care assessment is quite difficult to access by the common man hence the all-time increase in self-medication and further health complications.

What we want to achieve: The goal of our foundation is to purchase monthly health insurance subscription plans for 250 widowed women, orphans, and people with health challenges that would require a lot of financial payment to access consultation and basic care.

How we want to achieve it: The foundation aims to achieve this by partnering with the organizations that offer this health insurance subscription plan.

How much is needed: The goal is to purchase a health insurance plan monthly for our target audience (at least 250) at N3,500 per person which leads to a total of N875,000 or ($1,459) monthly.
