Economic Emporwerment

Widows, orphans, and indigents in Nigeria experience economic problems the most. The economic problem has to do with the lack of funds to enable their startup businesses and access to free education for orphans and other vulnerable children. Thus it is essential to act as soon as possible to reverse the deteriorating situation of orphans, widows, and vulnerable children at least to maintain the sustenance of our generation.

To reduce the poverty rate of our target population, we develop and harness their potentials by supporting capacity-building projects, skills acquisition while also advancing their entrepreneurial innovations.

Advocacy for All

Businesses suffer daily as a result of a lack of funding to carry out important business-building activities which is why the economic empowerment scheme, was launched and through this scheme the sum of one million naira grant was awarded to Mr. Ephraim Anuforo to get him back to his business which initially crumbled.

The most affected and neglected faction of the population is widows because the majority of the time, they are neglected by families and left to cater for themselves and provide for their children’s basic needs which include food.

The Foundation through its “Widows Outreach” reaches out to these affected women to support them. During the last outreach, 100 bags of rice were distributed and other palliatives to widows in Uga, Anambra State to improve their well-being.

The “I Care Project” is dedicated to providing support for urgent humanitarian demands, emergencies, and other short-term relief intervention which comes within the focus areas of the Foundation.

They are provided moral and financial support like in the case of Mrs. Obiageri Obadike who lost her kids in a car accident and was given a grant from the Foundation to meet up with the demands of the grave loss.

Mrs. Ezinne Beatrice Onwuka, a widow who was suffering from long severe pain in her leg was gifted a mobility bike and a cash sum of N50,000 from the foundation.

A woman recently lost her home due to a fire outbreak and through the I Care Project, a new home is being constructed to completion for her. (see video below)

The foundation recently visited an orphanage in Anambra and delivered gifts such as 2 bags of rice, 4 cartons of Indomie noodles,1 carton of spaghetti, and some toiletries.

If you have ever been wronged or defrauded especially during a business transaction where you are not present, the pain and regret is something that goes deep like pepper on a fresh cut.

One of the core values of the Ultimate Love Foundation is service to humanity, hence it formed the advocacy for all schemes responsible for helping wronged people attain justice.

Mrs. Ndidi Gladys Ugwuegbu is one of the beneficiaries of the scheme as she lost her property worth millions of naira during a virtual business transaction but all were recovered successfully by Ultimate Love Foundation.
Mrs. Ndidi Gladys Ugwuegbu
United Kingdom December 2020

Here’s her story: “I entered a business deal involving properties worth millions of naira but little did I know that my partner in the business had the intent to defraud me. Our arrangements were mostly virtual because I am based in the United Kingdom while he was operating from Nigeria. Incidentally, the partner duped me and claimed ownership of my properties. I was helpless and didn’t know how to go about this due to distance.

A well-meaning Nigerian referred me to Ultimate Love Foundation. I quickly reached out and shared my problems with them. They took it up and initiated proceedings that led to the recovery of the properties. Today, everything is intact and I am deeply grateful to the Foundation. My sincere prayer is that God rewards their humanitarian gestures.

There’s a popular saying by Martin Luther King, Jr which says

“Everybody can be great. Because anybody can serve. You don’t need to have a college degree to serve. You don’t need to make your subject and your verb agrees to serve…. You don’t need to know the second theory of thermodynamics in physics to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.”

Hence, we are calling for people like you who would like to:
* Be a part of a cause that transforms the lives of widows, orphans, and less privileged for the better,
* Encourage, advise and help them make the most out of their lives,
* Be a part of the reason they look back and smile as a result of your impact on their various lives,

If any of the listed above sounds like something you can do and would enjoy doing, kindly click on the link below to sign up as a volunteer.

We look forward to welcoming you to the team.
